kiwibank not for sale

Kiwibank is not for sale says Kerry Bevin, the political leader of The Republic of New Zealand Party.

Mr Bevin said hundreds of thousands of Kiwis have supported Kiwibank including himself.

“I’m tremendously proud to be a Kiwibank member.”

He said Kiwis want to manage their own money and not be ripped off again by foreigners and privateers.

Kerry Bevin was commenting on the rift in the National Party about Kiwibank’s future.

“Slippery John and Billy the Kid are planning the robbery now. It will be your money their gang steals when they become the government. It just shows you can’t trust National with Kiwibank. You can’t trust National with your assets.”

“The free market does not deliver superior services. It’s a playground for con men. We’ve seen enough asset stripping. There is no mandate to filch the people’s assets.”

The Republic of New Zealand Party’s policy is to protect Kiwibank with the Kiwi share as we will protect other strategic assets.

He said the New Zealand Republicans would boost Kiwibank capital to create a full commercial bank in the interests of fiscal stability.

The main purpose of the boost would be to get young families into homes with the best possible loans, he said
