The Republic of New Zealand Party

Democracy the way it should be!

Political Sunshine for Hawkes Bay.

This weekend will see the Republicans launch in the provinces, as we visit Hasting on Saturday, and Napier of Sunday, says party leader Kerry Bevin.

“There couldn’t be a better time to be talking to farmers, with this government refusing to take responsibility for our economic disparity. It may take time for people to wake up to the fact that this Government spends, not in the interests of the country and its people, but to promote its own self importance,” he said.

“You don’t get economic sustainability by telling farmers exporters and home owners to put up and shut up, just like you don’t get law and order from a warped social agenda he added.”

We are launching our candidates in their electorates this weekend. Mr Karl Brett is our Candidate for Tukituki, and Mr Brett Docherty is our candidate for Napier.

Please check our website at www.republicans.org.nz, for details of these events. We look forward to seeing you at one of our Hawkes Bay “Meet the Republicans” events, and talking with you about the way forward for New Zealand.

“It is time to grow out of our political apron strings and prove that democracy can really work,” said Mr Bevin.
