Manic Taxation.
Manic taxation is depressing our Nation, taking away the dream of homeownership, effectively lowering our pay and conditions, and undermining business and social wellbeing, says Republicans economic spokesman Kerry Bevin.
Mr Cullen’s multi billion dollar surplus pile is not a mountain of success. It is bigger than last year; it will be bigger next year, so when will people start asking them selves; why aren’t we better off?
“Cullen has become a Finance Minister chasing a runaway train, fuelled by more and more tax, exhausting cabinet’s financial flatulence. Ordinary decent kiwis really have been screwed by Cullen’s tax regime,” says Bevin.
The republican claims “this extortion in combination with the sinking lid on essential services has created another monster, the corruption of democracy.”
“Stand by for another massive bribe, this election, like the student loan bribe last election, which has been paid for by the promised tax cuts that never arrived,” says Bevin
Under a Republicans Centernomics Tax Remix we would stop this cynical manipulation of our economy, which is reducing our regional and international competitiveness. Seeing our brightest and our best leave is bad enough, but knowing they will more likely settle in Australia, rather than return home is no comfort to anyone’s retirement plans.
“Maybe they will visit occasionally and even send us home some money, while we sit here and sing the back water blues,” he adds.
