The Republic of New Zealand Party believes New Zealand service men and women should pledge their allegiance to the people of New Zealand, rather than a foreign queen 12,000 miles away.

Deputy Leader, Wayne Hawkins, said it was timely to ask this question on the eve of Anzac Day, an important day where we remember all those who paid with their lives in the service of our country. (more…)

section 59 today, with a statement from party leader Kerry

Mr Bevin said the party could not support the repeal of
